Here is an email from Lauralee from their recent trip:
"One more thing to add to your blog. The two families there this week took their kids to a nearby clinic and parasites were found in all but the baby. It all costs less than $10 including the medicine and didn't take too long. The kids will hopefully be in much better shape when they leave the end of the week. It is in walking distance of the guest house and Elsa went along to interpret and make sure they got what they needed. She also talked with the kids to find out what they understood about God and Jesus. The parents were SO HAPPY. Love, Lauralee"
This is the guest house where we stayed when we went to pick up our children in Ethiopia. The money this house makes goes directly to pay for the cost of the house and the salary of the staff and its profits all go directly into their mission work and they are doing so many different projects from well drilling to building to providing bible education to Orthodox Priests. It's very close to Layla house, CWA and a stone's throw from AHOPE the HIV orphanage.
